All Sin Originates in Our Heart
As authentic disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ we must understand all sin comes originates from the wickedness of our hearts. Jesus said in Matthew 15:18-20, "But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man."For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. “These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man." We often forget about the motives of our hearts, our attitudes, and the words we speak reflect the attitude of our hearts. The…
Apostles’ Creed
There are two main forms of the Apostles’ Creed, the first is the Old Roman form and the second is the Received form of the Apostles’ Creed. The Old Roman Form: The Old Roman version of the Apostles’ Creed is taken from the Greek of Marcellus, of Ancyra, 341 AD. It says, “I believe in God the Father Almighty. And in Jesus Christ His only (begotten) Son our Lord, who was born of the Holy Ghost and the Virgin Mary; crucified under Pontius Pilate, and buried; the third day He rose from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sitteth…

Love is to be the foundation of our service to Him and as new converts and as authentic disciples we should seek to develop love as the foundation for our lives. Serving the Lord from a motive of love is what every true child of God needs to develop in their personal…
The Need for Discipleship Today
Jesus said in Matthew 28:19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations”. Making disciples should be the number one priority of the body of Christ. Jesus also said in Luke 14:33, “So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple.” Many leaders have disobeyed the command of Jesus Christ and have resorted to preaching a watered down, candy coated message in order to gain a larger congregation. In the book “Reveal: Where Are You?” by Greg Hawkins and Cally Parkinson published by the Willow Creek Association in 2007, Bill Hybels readily admits…
