Ministry Mission Statement

Grasping the Father’s Vision –

Lighting Houses around the World with

the Gospel of Jesus Christ

Our mission is to “Light Houses Around the World with the Gospel of Jesus Christ” by fulfilling the great commission given by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ when He said, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations” (Matt.28:19). Our mission is to make disciples of all nations by restoring biblical Christianity to the body of Christ. Through the process of discipleship, we will seek to restore genuine biblical Christianity in the lives of believers, so they may experience the abundant life that Christ offers.

We call all disciples to make knowing Jesus Christ their “one thing”, only pursuit, first priority, main focus, primary goal, purpose in life, highest aim, and reason for living. For one to experience the abundant life, they must completely surrender to Jesus as the Lord of their lives and come under His Lordship. They must empty themselves of all selfish and self centered ways to live in surrender to Him. This demands being willing to forsake all you have and are to follow Jesus Christ (Luke 14:33). It is a high price to pay and our mission is to lead believers through this process of discipleship.

We will teach disciples to live a life of surrender in obedience to the Lordship of Christ out of a loving relationship with Him. This will be accomplished by each disciple when they learn to live a life led by the Holy Spirit, through the power of the indwelling Christ, allowing Him to live His live through them.

As genuine disciples learn to allow Him to live His life through them, being led by the Holy Spirit, they will learn to walk as He walked (1 John 2:6). As they develop an intimate relationship with the Lord by being Spirit-led, they will grow in grace and experiential knowledge of our Lord. The natural result of being Spirit-filled and Spirit-led is being conformed into His image and made in His likeness.

We desire to see the biblical truth of the “Priesthood of All believers” restored in the Body of Christ not theologically, but in practice. Every Spirit-filled believer has received a spiritual gift and has been gifted to function according to their gift or the gifts distributed by Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 12: 1-11; 14:23-33; Eph. 4:6-7; Heb.6:10; 10:19-25; 1Peter 4:10-11). As functioning members in the Body of Christ, every believer will be able to share the gospel with unbelievers and minister to the saints, enabling the growth of the Body of Christ, the Church. We desire to restore ‘every believer participating and functioning’ churches meeting in homes of believers, often referred to as “house churches”. As believers participate in ministry by ministering to one another and sharing the gospel with unbelievers, they will truly be the church wherever they go. We seek to equip and prepare believers for ministry by encouraging them in their calling and to function in their gifting every day and everywhere.

Many have unknowingly substituted the “Christian Religion” with its institutional system and lifeless programs for the abundant life Jesus Christ offers. This mistake is due to being taught the “system” of “going to church” and believing that ministry is someone else’s responsibility.
